【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthedroppingpointoflubricatinggreaseoverawidetemperaturerange.NOTES1Thedroppingpointisusefulasanaidtoidentificationoflubricatinggreaseastotype,andasabenchmarkforqualitycontrol.Theresultsshouldbeconsideredtohaveonlylimitedsignificancewithrespecttoserviceperformancebecausedroppingpointisastatictest.2Cooperativetestingindicatesthat,ingeneral,droppingpointsdeterminedaccordingtothisInternationalStandardandtoISO2176areinagreementupto260℃.Incaseswhereresultsdiffer,thereisnoknownsignificance.However,agreementbetweenthemanufacturerandpurchaserastothetestmethodusedisadvisable.
