【摘要】:ThestandardisavailabletoproducersandusersofRDFtouseindeterminingthefusibilityofashproducedfromRDF.LimitationsofAshFusibilityData8212;Ashfusibilitydataaretoooftenover-interpreted.Inpractice,typesofburningequipment,rateofburning,temperatureandthicknessoffirebedorball,distributionofashformingmineralmatterintheRDF,andviscosityofthemoltenashmayinfluenceashbehaviormorethantheashfusibilitycharacteristicsdeterminedbythelaboratorytest.Furthermore,conditionsexistingduringappliedcombustionofRDFaresocomplexthattheyareimpossibletoduplicatecompletelyinasmall-scalelaboratorytest.Therefore,thetestshouldbeconsideredanempiricaloneandthedata,atbest,onlyqualitative.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheobservationofthetemperaturesatwhichtriangularpyramids(cones)preparedfromRDFashattainandpassthroughcertainstagesoffusingandflowwhenheatedataspecificrateincontrolled,mildly-reducing,andoxidizingatmospheres.1.2Thetestmethodisempirical,andstrictobservanceoftherequirementsandconditionsisnecessarytoobtainreproducibletemperaturesandenabledifferentlaboratoriestoobtainconcordantresults.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection6foradditionalhazardinformation.
